In the premiere episode of JTBC drama The Beauty Inside, lead star Seo Hyun Jin shows off her Korean sign language skills in a scene with a deaf fan, reminiscent of a real life situation when the Another Oh Hae Young star greeted a hearing impaired fan during a signing event. According to Soompi, "In 2012, Seo Hyun Jin starred in [the] film 'The Peach Tree' as a character whose sister has a hearing impairment, and she learned a bit of sign language for [the] role."
