Fox Bride Star & Heart Surgeons Are Unexpected Delights

Fox Bride Star (also known as Where Stars Land) and Heart Surgeons are two Korean dramas that premiered recently that weren't exactly on my priority list. However, watching the first episodes totally made me do a one-eighty.

Fox Bride Star What I thought would be the airport version of Misaeng turned out to have a touch of fantasy, hinting at superhuman mythology, with enigmatic Lee Soo Yeon (played by Lee Je Hoon) trying to keep a low profile at the Passenger Services Department of Incheon International Airport, but, failing miserably due to his hot-headed with a tendency to become violent trainee Han Yeo Reum (played by Chae Soo Bin).

Heart Surgeons The premiere episode of Korean drama Heart Surgeons proved to be more heart pounding than Terius Behind Me. And, that's a sentence I never thought I would be writing. The publicized plot summary, "The series revolves around the thoracic surgery department of a hospital," hardly gave an inkling of the passionate Dr. Park Tae Soo ((played by Go Soo) who's crazy enough to steal a heart meant for a presidential candidate to give to his ailing mother.

Priority List So, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays it's Fox Bride Star first instead of 100 Days My Prince and The Beauty Inside; and then, it's going to be a close call between Heart Surgeons and Terius Behind Me on Thursdays and Fridays. Of course, I'll watch all of them on Viu Philippines. but, the order of priority has definitely changed.
