I was only made aware recently that the Korean language can now be studied by Philippine high school students, joining the ranks of Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese (Nihongo), German, French and Spanish as an option in the Special Program in Foreign Languages. As expected, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philipp ines or KCC will be at the forefront of providing support for this endeavor.
